ABEBA TAKELE - THIS IS MY STORY

Abeba Takele one of displaced women in Assosa reached by ANE

Abeba Takele is a young woman displaced from Kemeshi Zone due to frequent attacks by UAGs.She said

we are lucky enough because we escaped and arrived here at Bambasi after having a barefoot journey for a number of days. We lost everything including Basic Non-Food Items such as cloths, sleeping mats, lumps, water containers and others. Upon our arrival, the people of Bambasi and the town administration welcomed and provide support for us for some days.

However, the issue of Core Relief Items(CRIs) were our critical problems in the Bambasi IDP site. Thanks for ANE and UNHCR, we received some portion of basic Core Relief Items(CRIs) to lead our daily livings. Now, we are waiting the government intervention to sustain peace and stability in our previous homeland for our return.
